Soybean is a very common raw material for oil extraction. Its oil content is in the range of 15.6%-22.5% and contains 35%-45% of protein, It makes soybean a high-quality high-protein and high cost performance oil material.

Realated craft flow and equipments is as following:

1. Material Pre-treatment

In this section, the impurities in the soybean material will be removed and the soybean hulls will be separated. The bean embryo will be broken into small pieces and then processed into a puffed state. The purpose for this arrangement is to create a good production enviroment and minimize the total fat loss, increase oil yield and output and improve the quality of oil and cake & meal.


2. Oil Extraction

After sealed screw conveyor put the puffed soybean into exactor, the oil in extruded soybean will be dissolved by solvent, finally get crude oil. Compared with the pressing method, the residual rate of leaching is low (<1%) and offer a better quality meal. At the same time, this solution has the following features:

  1. Adopting negative pressure evaporation can ensure excellent oil quality;
  2. Extraction system is highly adaptable, and can adapt to different raw material ;
  3. All equipments are provided with exhaust gas absorption systems with excellent absorption effect;
  4. Full energy-saving design utilizes heat energy for many times and saves steam consumption.


3. Oil Refinery
 

Crude oil contains a large number of other ingredients that require further refining. In this section, continuous alkali refining shortens contact tome between oil and lye,which reduces oil saponification state,lowers refining consumption,and improves efficiency;negative pressure state avoids oxygen in the air from contacting with hot oil,thereby ensuring oil product quality ,inhibiting with hot oil,there by ensuring oil product quality,inhibiting acid value to rise again,and lowering peroxide value; physical refining section adopts new type continuous deacidiffication and deodorization craft, the actual production proves its most obvious advantages as following: strong deacidiffication ability ,excellent hot bleaching effect,high refining rate ,good oil quality etc.

1.Soybean pretreatment workshop

It’s used to process soybean into suitable condition for extraction through cleaning, stones removal, impurities removal, crushing, softening and conditioning, flaking ,drying and other processes.

2. Extraction Workshop

It includes oil extraction, wet meal toasting, miscella evaporation, solvent recovery, exhaust gas recovery with paraffin and other processes.

3.Oil refining Workshop

Add hot water to remove phospholipids, decolorization (removing pigment from oil to make oil clear and transparent) through adsorption of active bleaching clay, continuous physical deacidification and deodorization.                 

Refining

Refining is an essential process for a complete oil pressing line because there are still some impurities such as phospholipids, FFA, pigment, odor,etc. in the crude oil. Oil Refining Equipment

1. Decoloring tank: bleach pigments from oil.

2. Deodorizing tank: remove the un-favored smell from decolorized oil.

3. Oil furnace: provide enough heat for the refining sections which need high temperature of 280°C.                        

4. Vacuum pump: provide high pressure for bleaching, deodorization which can reach 755mmHg or more.

5. Air compressor: dry the bleached clay after bleaching.

6. Filter press: filter the clay into the bleached oil.

Degumming, alkali refining and water washing section Adopt batch type refining technology, add phosphoric acid to make nonhydratable phospholipids transform into hydratable phospholipids, at the same time, complex plenty of iron ions dissolving in oil in the high FFA production process, add lye to make it neutralize free fatty acid to generate soap-stock and absorb impurities in oil, add hot water for water washing, discharge and recycle soap-stock, then temporarily store soap-stock in soap-stock tank.
